Hi! My name is Dawn Held! I will be one of your child’s Social Studies teacher for the school year! This will be my 21st year teaching. I am married to Brian, an IT professional. I have two amazing nephews, Joshua and Leon, and an amazing niece, Sarah. I have 2 cats, Soot and Harley.
My Childhood!
I grew up in Metairie where I attended Catholic Schools from K-12. As a child, I attended art classes at NOMA, the YMCA, and Mike Miley Playground. My favorite school clubs were the Art Club and the Drama Club. I graduated from Ursuline Academy High School in 1987.
