Admission Area: All of California. We are NOT IMPACTED! FTF only accepted for Fall Quarter and must meet minimum requirements: Be a HS graduate, Complete GED or California High School Proficiency Exam Qualifiable Eligibility Index Meet “a-g” Requirements Impacted Majors with additional requirements: Students interested in Business and Nursing Majors are first admitted to CSUEB as a Pre-Business or Pre-Nursing and must additionally apply directly to the Business Administration B.S./Nursing B.S. major by the departmental deadlines. Nursing students are only accepted in the Fall Quarter. Music Majors: Students are conditionally admitted to the Music BA major pending the results of an audition with the Department of Music. Our primary population comes from CC and Alameda counties, but as you can see from the picture we service all of CA Nursing: -Students must complete Nursing Supplemental Application in addition to CSU Application -Supplemental application only accepted in Fall Quarter -Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) -130 students admitted for Fall Quarter -3.00 GPA in last 90 quarter/60 semester units plus additional minimum GPA requirements in pre-requisite coursework Business Administration: -Students must complete Business Supplemental Application in addition to CSU Application -Supplemental application accepted year round -”C” or better in all lower division core requirements

2013 Applications 2013 Admits Percent of Applicant Pool Admitted 2013 Projected Enrollment Freshmen 14,351 9,820 68% 1,400-1,500 Average GPA: 3.1, Average ACT Composite Test Score: 19/ SAT Approx 1,000* Students must submit their Intent to Register to secure place in the entering class (no deposit required) and submit all required documents to maintain an active admission status. To view a full list of terms and conditions of admission, please visit After application is processed students will receive the following communications: Application confirmation letters begin going out in November on a rolling basis; activate personal identification number, called a “NetID,” and set up a CSU East Bay horizon account Notification letter/ on Admission status and action required Regular communications regarding next steps for enrollment; s, phone calls and letters (at least once/month) Reminders to log on to MyCSUEB to view “to do” list * Data based on 2013 incoming class Slide 9.
