2. Shakespeare’s career
In 1587 Shakespeare went to work in London . He wanted to be an actor and to write plays.
In London he began to act and write plays for the theatre . He became famous because his plays were very good .
Soon he became an important member of a well-known theatre.
In 1599 they built their own theatre on the southern bank of the Thames river which was called the Globe Theatre

3. He wrote a lot of comedies and tragedies
