6. “He that transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of” our Lord, has surely forgot!
The story of Moses and how he smote the rock:
Of Nadab and Abihu, or even the “wife of Lot;”
The children of Israel who wanted a king,
Or of poor old Uzzah, what a pitiful scene.
Think on these things and see where you stand.
Be sure it’s with God and not with man.
For there is a way that seems right unto a man;
But if we would please God we must follow His plan.
From the “strait” and the “narrow” we must never stray,
But walk therein from day to day.
We must let His word be a light for our path, and a lamp to light our way,
For it will be our judge on that final day.
