PreACT Overview Taking PreACT is one of the first actionable steps a student will take to practice for The ACT test.

PreACT Overview 10th grade multiple-choice paper assessment
Provides actionable insights for students, parents, and educators Shorter in length than the ACT Flexible test administration dates Rapid reporting means earlier and more effective intervention and planning Assessment 10th grade multiple choice assessment that predicts performance of the ACT Shorter in length than the ACT, simulating the ACT testing experience and providing a high stakes practice environment for a low stakes test Available in Battery delivery: English, math, reading and science – No writing – Customers may administer it in models If the chose Flexible administration windows from September 1 – June 1 each year – we listened to our customers and are delivering a test that they may give when they want to give it throughout the school year. Our first year will be Paper delivery and Paper reporting mode. It is our intent to take this online in the future but in an effort to deliver to the market quickly, we launched what would get to market the fastest. Quick turnaround: 5-10 days after receipt of answer documents (domestic shipping only) Early exposure to students for ACT type test questions

PreACT Overview—Reporting
PreACT scores and predicted ACT score ranges for composite and subject test on ACT 1–36 scale PreACT reporting category scores Student’s college and career planning results, including their results on Interest-Career Fit STEM and text complexity scores Student level item response and improvement skills PreACT reports will include: Predicted ACT composite and subject score ranges PreACT scores Same scale as the ACT 1-36 using the ACT College Readiness Benchmarks ACT reporting category score ranges Student’s college and career planning results, including measured career interests and an Interest-Career Fit metric. STEM score, reflecting preparedness for STEM areas of study Text complexity score, indicating preparedness for understanding postsecondary content Item Response for students, with both correct answer Aggregate reporting including item response Quick reporting turnaround within 5-10 days of receipt of answer documents Available to states, districts, schools, third party and gifted and talented search programs (B2B Model) Non-secure test form - Item Response will be shared with students and educators
