4
Specially Designed Lens
Moulded one-piece seamless design 40 MIL IR9 lens ensures superior white light immunity Coverage: 11m (35ft) x 11m (35ft)
5
Patented Digital Detection
Completely software driven – an industry first Converts, amplifies and processes the sensor’s low-level signal digitally without any analog circuitry Processes the sensor’s entire signal without any saturation or noise Provides increased accuracy, reliability and superior false alarm immunity
6
Digital Shield The Digital Shield is comprised of 3 parts:
Digital Signal Processing – Resulting in a clean and accurate digital signal Movement Analysis – Verifies that the signal is actually a movement signal RFI/EMI Protection – Distinguishes interference signals from movement signals
7
Auto Pulse Signal Processing (Patented)
Provides excellent protection against false alarms The Elegance’s advanced signal processor evaluates signal duration, strength and shape before deciding whether to generate alarm or memorize a signal’s value. Through its analysis, the signal processor provides variable pulse counting. Strong signals immediately generate an alarm, while weak signals are counted and stored until memory levels required to cause an alarm are reached.
8
Digital Automatic Temperature Compensation
Adjusts sensitivity according to the difference between room temperature and body temperature
9
Dual Edge Processing Analyzes both the entry and exit signal before generating an alarm for increased false alarm immunity Dual edge processing separates the entry and exit signals so each signal must reach the required level. If the entry and exit signals do not reach the required level, an alarm is not generated thus dramatically decreasing false alarms. Single edge processing (found in most PIR’s) adds the entry and exit signals until the required energy levels are reached before an alarm is generated.
