ADRESSING THE PROBLEM THESE KIND OF PROBLEMS WILL INTIMIDATE YOU BUT DON’T E INTIMIDATED BY THEM THEY ARE SIMPLE AND SOMETIMES THEY CAN PUT YOU TO SLEEP
3
THE PROBLEM OK SO FIRST YOU HAVE TO THINK WHAT THE PROBLEM IS
Ok so if the price is $20.00 and the discount is 50% you go $20.00 times $.50 and you get the discount which is 10 so you go $20-$10 and you get $10 and that is 50 %
4
ANOTHER PROBLEM SO we told you how to do the problem now lets see you do it by your self. Price is 50$ and the discount is 20% so we got is that right? If you said no you are right and if you got yes go back to slide three. The answer was actually $10 in this problem.
5
PUT IT ALL TOGETHER REMEMBER YOU TURN THE PERCENT INTO A DECIMAL AND THEN MULTIPLY WHEN YOU GET THE NUMBER ADD OR SUBTRACT THE NUMBER TO THE ORIGNAL PRICE AND YOU GET YOUR NEW PRICE.
6
THE STEPS FIRST YOU TURN THE PERCENT INTO A DECIMAL
NEXT YOU MULTIPLY THE DECIMAL BY THE ORIGNAL PRICE THEN YOU ADD OR SUBTRACT AND YOU GeT THe PRICE.
7
Price s With Cents Ok it is like the first one but all you have to so is add the decimal to it So you go X .50 And the answer is 10.25
8
Make Up Your Own Problem
Make up your own problem all you have to do is get a number and a percent and make it a decimal and multiply. Making your own problem is very easy just pick some random numbers and just make up your own problem So now you have your random numbers and random percents now you can finally figure out the price of the product you are buying on sale by yourself.
