What are the IDDSI food and drink textures? From April 2019 all SALTS will be required to meet IDDSI framework. Awareness and adoption phase from April 2018

3 Testing Method for Liquid levels 0 - 3
The IDDSI flow test is required The testing methods require 2 x 61.5mm syringes which hold 10ml and a precise timer in seconds and the IDDSI flow chart

4 Checklist for flow and levels
Level 0 Thin All 10 mL flows through within 10 secs Level 1 Slightly thick 1-4 mL remains after 10 secs flow ∗ Level 2 Mildly thick 4-8 mL remains after 10 secs flow ∗ Level 3 Moderately Thick/Liquidised >8 mL remains after 10 secs flow then proceed to
