Timelines April 20th - May 10th May 11th:
Boxes & furniture moved to Gilmora Gym for storage until August. May 11th: Deans, AVP–Research, and Registrar’s Office moved to Lane Hall basement. Others requiring a summer office relocated to Coady MacNeil. Week of August 13th (estimated): All offices in Lane Hall are available to occupy. Offices in Coady MacNeil are moved, along with furniture and boxes stored in Gilmora Gym. Summer 2019: Faculty and staff move into new offices in Mulroney Hall and Nicholson Tower.

Lane Hall Furniture from your office – including desks and bookcases – will be re-used in Lane Hall. Note: all furniture (i.e. desks, filing cabinets) must be emptied before they’re moved. Offices in Lane Hall are only big enough to fit two bookcases and one filing cabinet. If required, extra storage will be allocated in Lane for faculty who need access to more books than can fit in their office. Note: individual faculty offices in Lane Hall will be preassigned.

Coady MacNeil Anyone who needs an office in Coady MacNeil over the summer should confirm their request with Kevin Wamsley by no later than Friday, March 30th. Built-in furniture will be used in Coady MacNeil. Please note that storage is limited. Faculty and staff are encouraged to bring only essential items to Coady MacNeil.

Storage Gilmora Gym: May – August 2018
Lane Hall: August 2018 – Summer 2019 These spaces will be locked. All boxes and furniture placed in storage will be tracked via a barcode system. Upon request, you can access items placed in storage. If you think you’ll eventually need an item in storage, label the box you’re placing it in.

Packing Your Office All items (except desktop computers & accessories) must be packed into boxes. This includes phones. If you have a laptop, you’re responsible for moving it. Desktop computers and accessories should be left (unpacked) in your office, as IT Services will inventory them and move them to your new space. Boxes, packing material and a moving cart are available to Tower occupants.

Packing Your Office Boxes must be labeled using the FM moving form.
This will be distributed via . Please indicate whether the box is going to your temporary office or to storage. Boxes won’t be moved until at least April 20th, when Gilmora Gym becomes available for storage. All office furniture, including desks and filing cabinets, must be emptied before they are moved.

Packing Your Office Need help packing? Moving items to your vehicle that you’re taking home? You’ll need to be present while your belongings are packed/moved to your vehicle. All personal items or other belongings that are delicate/valuable must be taken home.

Discarding Surplus Items
The Chairs Recycling and garbage bins are on each floor of the tower, along with two locked shredder boxes. Bins are checked daily, and will be replaced by custodial services when full. All boxes, journals and papers should go in the recycling box.
