2 Marmoset by Jeremy T. Marmosets are highly active, living in the upper canopy of forest trees. They feed on insects, fruit and leaves. Mothers typically have twins.

Blue morpho butterfly are located in central and south America. The mopho butterfly drinks its food rather then eats it. Morpho butterfly range in wings span from 3-7 inches

4 Macaws by Tara Hovick Macaws are beautiful, brilliantly colored members of the parrot family.

6 Toucan by Brianna Toucans live in South American tropical rain forests. Toucans use their bills to attract mates and as a feeding tool. Toucans nest in tree holes.

7 Iguana by Jeremy G. Primarily herbivores, iguanas are active during the day, feeding on leaves, flowers, and fruit. They generally live near water and are excellent swimmers.

8 Jaguar by Leonard Jaguars are the largest of South America's big cats.
They are good swimmers. Jaguars live alone.

9 Poison dart frog by Dante Beasley
They are the most toxic species. They are brightly colored to warn predators to not eat them They eat insects.

10 Macaw by Maria They are intelligent. They are social.
They have strong beaks.
