1. Memorial/Monument Assignment
Imagine you have been selected to design a memorial or monument to honor a resister or rescuer from World War II.
Research a person or group that is considered a resister or rescuer during World War II.
Using your research answer the following:
Who is the person you have chosen and what was that person’s contribution to the world? This is a short biographical paragraph.
Why is this memorial needed?
Where would it be placed and what type of memorial is it?  [Example: statue, park, sign, building, etc.]
EXTENSION: Create a model or “mock up” of your proposed memorial or monument. Your model can be made with the medium of your choosing (drawing, clay, paint, etc.)
