PC6 is located between the tendons of the palmaris longus (PL) and flexor carpi radialis (FCR) muscles and one-sixth of the distance from the wrist crease (dotted line). (A) Insertion of the needle at PC6, which is located between PL and FCR tendons. (B) Penetration of the PL tendon by the needle. (C) Based on topographical relationships, the median nerve is located in close proximity to the path of acupuncture at PC6.
