How is it graded? It is graded at three levels:- Pass= Grade C Merit= Grade B Distinction= A This means, the lowest mark you can gain for the completion of this course is the equivalent of grade C. How is it assessed? This course is 100% coursework. This is especially good for those who find exams stressful! You will be expected to work independently and in groups to research topics, and use IT skills to present and produce portfolios of work. Unit One Understanding Travel and Tourism Sectors For example The reasons people travel Different travel organisations, such as accommodation, travel, attractions, travel agents and tour operators. What happens after doing a BTEC?
You could chose to study a BTEC at level three ( equivalent to A Level) in Travel and Tourism. Or… Apply to do an apprenticeship in a Travel and Tourism Organisation.
