2 Accent A strong movement or gesture

3 Body Roll Articulating the spine from head to tail, or the reverse

4 Projection A confident presentation of one’s body and energy to communicate movement and meaning vividely to an audience. It also refers to performane quality.

5 Fan Kick a big kick that brushes inwards then outwards (or reverse) creating a fan shape

6 Choreography The creation and composition of dances by arranging or inventing steps, movements, and patterns of movements.

7 Attitude a pose with a bent gesturing leg

8 Sight Lines Any of the lines of sight between the spectators and the stage or playing area in a theater,

9 Legs Tall, narrow stage drapes that are used to mask the wings on either side of the stage

10 Scrim a piece of such fabric used as a drop or border for creating the illusion of a solid wall or backdrop under certain lighting conditions or creating a semitransparent curtain when lit from behind

11 Cyclorama or “Cyc” Material that is used to cover the back and sometimes the sides of the stage and used with special lighting
