Saint Catherine of Siena School
Good Morning- Saint Catherine of Siena School January 12, 2018 NEWSLETTER National School Choice Week was founded in 2011 to promote the concept of all forms of school choice: district schools; district magnet schools; charter schools; private schools; and home schooling . The week of events is scheduled the last week of January each year. From small gatherings to large rallies, celebrating excellent choices in education during National School Choice Week is all about celebrating what makes our school awesome. Saint Catherine of Siena School will celebrate by wearing School Choice scarves and displaying posters like “Parents Know Best!” Again, it is NOT an issue of separation of Church and State, but rather a right for parents, as the first educators of their children, to choose the school that best meets the child’s needs. On January 23rd from 4-7pm, Kate Baker, of the Children’s Scholarship Fund New Hampshire, is hosting an event at the Radisson Manchester. She promises that the event is going to be amazing. She would like to get as many people there as possible so I am sharing the RSVP with our families so that many may attend this lively student focused event. The hours are perfect for families… go for a ½ hour or for the full event! Celebrate YOUR Choice! SNEAK PEEK… Saturday, January 27 after 4:00 Mass – Pasta Dinner in the gym Sunday, January 28 Coffee and donuts after the 9:00 and 11:00 Mass – Church Hall Monday, January 29 School Mass 9:00 am The school writes THANK YOU’s Tuesday, January 30 $ dress down; Get up and Dance…; Class Exchange!
