eB4CAST Overview CAPTURE ASSEMBLE SUSTAIN TIMELESSNESS
eB4CAST is a community-based research approach designed to capture the overall impact and effect of evidence based programing in implementation and dissemination. Collecting indirect publicly available data to forecast the need and feasibility of potential interventions and direct participant and facilitator data which measures community impact and program longevity. Capturing data through direct and indirect measures CAPTURE Assembling data into a visual representation to show community impact ASSEMBLE Sustainability of data to continue community based research SUSTAIN Timelessness of data to better inform future evidence based research TIMELESSNESS

Received By NOW Mailed (printed) and electronic format
Infographic forecast report PowerPoint has all information represented in the infographic Poster provides overview of the project, scales captured, and student/admin priorities Poster and PowerPoint are in editable format for convenience Survey request You should have received both a mailed box on January and electronic ed version on Jan 30 of the infographic report, powerpoint and poster along with some Fruved swag. It is very important to note: we have provided the powerpoint and poster in an editable format so you have the flexibility to add or delete to make it resonate with your campus and audience. We have also sent a survey request to each university requesting your professional and boots on the group feedback. Because this is CBPR. By filling out the survey you are part of the dynamic process of refining eB4CAST to make it a full circle research process and useful in behavioral and environmental change on campus.

Initial Feedback bit.ly/fruvedeb4cast Pros Visually appealing
Captures attention Good to share program details Cons Need to compare to national average or benchmark Definitions to understand scales Data unclear Suggestions Can infographic be QR on poster to show data Darker grey text for ease of reading A BIG Thank You for Feedback! If you have not completed the survey, please do so at bit.ly/fruvedeb4cast We appreciate those of you have filled out the survey that came in the with your infographic report. This feedback has been very helpful when applying conceptual and action driven edits to the infographic and making sure we have the appropriate information displayed. If you haven’t filled out the survey yet, please do so. Dr. Kerri Martin will be sending out a reminder to you all after this webinar. Some initial feedback we have received is listed. We are currently working on revising the template to represent national average for all scales and provided definitions. As noted previously, this will be represented on your next report.

Fruved, eB4CAST, and University
Front page will give you the overview of the projects and a short synopsis for your university if you were to show outsiders Now looking at your sites infographic report, we will be starting on the first page. Just to note, we will do most of this presentation in the order of your report except HCEA will be presented last as most of the questions we have received are regarding HCEA. Looking at your first page you’ll see that this covers an overview of Fruved and eB4CAST along with a short synopsis of your university. This page is meant to introduce the report to the audience.
7
Demographics & Your Campus
Fruved students collected information on their campus as part of the HCEA survey At each Get Fruved site, you all had wonderful researchers and personnel who gave us your demographic and indirect data. From these data, our researchers put them into our eb4cast template. This will not be recollected for your footprint report.
8
College Environment Perception
FRUVED participants completed survey on their environmental perceptions Policy How many policies students thought the school had to support health Food How healthy students perceived the campus food environment to be Water Students perceptions of how available clean and tasty water was on campus Vending The availability of healthy options in vending machines For your College Environmental Perceptions Survey – this was direct data from all who filled out the survey and averaged for your camps. This will not be recollected for your footprint report. (Read each definition). Each bar has their scale listed on your right side in grey and your score is listed via a colored bar and a percentage of that. National Averages will be included from feedback to see how you compare. Physical Activity Student perceptions of opportunities to be physically active on campus Stress The availability of stress management on campus Sleep Availability for students to have undisrupted sleep on campus

For priorities: students and administration ranked their top 5 priorities on their campus

Wellness Report Card Provides your campus average compared to other FRUVED schools Each site has their wellness report card listed on page 6. Across the top you will see colors that are associated with each area of the survey filled out by your researchers. National average is to the left and your campus average is next to that. Further, what the scores represent and tips to improve them are listed here. This will be recollected for your footprint.
