4 Searching a Client In the left menu click My Clients > Client Search. Your search can be based on First Name or Last Name or client Type (Prospect, Current or Past). The bulb indicated that the text box can suggest during your typing.

5 Add a Client You can add a client by clicking the “Add New Client” button available on previous screen. You can also Add a client by clicking on My Clients>Add New Client in the left menu. Both Actions will direct you to a screen where you can enter client information and save.

6 2 1 Edit a Client First Search for the desired client
In the table, as you hover mouse on “Tasks^” a menu will appear which provides a link to edit the client information. 2 1

7 Delete a Client On the same “My Clients” screen, in hover menu there is an option “Delete Client”. Please remember that if you delete a client, his history with you is not deleted. The events you have scheduled with this client will remain there for future reference. If you click the “Delete Client” command, a message will appear asking if you are sure to delete this client. Clicking Yes will delete the client.

8 View/Edit/Print Client Assessment
On the same “Client Manger” screen in the hover menu there is an option Client Assessment. 1 2 Clicking the Client Assessment link will open Client Assessment screen where you can enter the assessment data and save it. On the same screen you can also click “Generate Report for Printing” to view the printer friendly version of Client Assessment screen. You can also print a blank copy by clicking “Generate Form for Printing”.

9 View/Edit/Print Allergy Assessment
On the same “Client Manger” screen in the hover menu there is an option Allergy Assessment 1 2 Clicking the Allergy Assessment link will open the Client Allergy Assessment screen where you can enter the client allergy information and save it. On the same screen you can also click “Generate Report for Printing” to view the printer friendly version of Client Allergy Assessment screen. You can also print a blank copy by clicking “Generate Form for Printing”.

10 View/Edit/Print Client Preferences
On the same “Client Manger” screen in the hover menu there is an option Client Preferences 1 2 Clicking the Client Preferences link will open Client Preferences screen where you can enter the Preferences information and save it. On the same screen you can also click “Generate Report for Printing” to view the printer friendly version of Client Preferences screen. You can also print a blank copy by clicking “Generate Form for Printing”.

11 View Schedule with a Client
On the same “Client Manger” screen in the hover menu there is an option “My Schedule with this Client”. 2 1 Clicking “My Schedule with this client” link will show details of events with the client (if any ).

12 View History with the Client
On the same “Client Manger” screen in the hover menu there is an option “My history with this Client”. 2 1 Clicking “My History with this client” will show summery of events with the client (if any ). On this form there is also a links for Client Assessment and Client Preferences

13 Invite a client to fill online Assessment Form
On the same “Client Manger” screen in the hover menu there is an option “Invite to fill online Client Assessment”. Chef will be informed by as client follows link sent by chef to fill online form. Chef will also be informed when client submits filled form. On clicking “invite to fill online Client Assessment” an will be sent to the respective client inviting him/her to fill the online client assessment form. Please note that to use this feature, you must associate an address with the client.

Please note that to use this feature, you must associate an address with the client.

16 Email Menu(s) Click My Clients > Email Menus.
All the verified addresses, you added in My Addresses are be listed. Click My Clients > Menus. Select menu(s) you want to send and client(s) whom you want to send selected menu(s). Click Send button to send to selected clients. All your menus are be listed here. Names of your client are displayed here. When you select a client and hit Add, his address is added to the list. You can edit/add menu items in the body section manually as well. You can also use various formatting options.

17 Manage Service Agreements
In the left menu click My Clients > My Service Agreements. You can add new service agreement by clicking “ADD NEW SERVICE AGREEMENT”. You can get a printer friendly version by clicking Print link against required Business Plan. All the service agreements will be listed on this screen. You can edit/delete/print an existing service agreement.

18 Print Client Labels Search clients. Check the desired clients.
Select a label format and click “Print Labels”. Labels with gray background are added by Administrator and labels with white background are added by you.

19 Email Recipes Click My Clients > Email Recipes.
Select recipe(s) you want to send and client(s) whom you want to send selected recipe(s). Click Send button to send to selected clients. You can also edit any details of just by clicking in the editor.

23 Search a Recipe In the left menu click My Recipes > Recipe Search
If you check “include shared recipes” check box, system will also include shared recipes in search. A comprehensive search is available to search recipes available in system. You can also choose if you want to see the Shared Recipes . List of recipes found as a result is displayed below. A Shared Recipe is a chef’s recipe which is contributed in public recipe database.

24 View/Print/Scale Recipes
While viewing, you can also scale the recipe. Serving size can only be a whole number. 2 1

25 Shared Recipes Recipes added by other users and declared Shared while adding them are Shared Recipes You can view/print/scale Shared Recipes. If you want to edit a shared recipe, you can do so by clicking Edit Shared Recipe link available in search results.

26 View/Edit/Delete your Recipes
You can add ingredient amounts in one of the following formats. 1 (i.e. whole numbers) 0.5 (i.e. decimals) 1/2 (i.e. fractions) 1 1/2 (i.e. complex fractions. 1 1/2 means one and half) 2 1

28 Unit Convertor You can access Unit Convertor by clicking My Recipes > Unit Convertor. Enter quantity and select Unit. System will automatically load available target units. Select a target unit and click Convert. The Converted amount will be displayed below.

Click My Recipes in the left menu On the Recipe Manager form click “Import Recipes”

30 Export Recipes from MasterCook 9.0 TM
Saving Recipes to a File on Your Hard Drive: (From MasterCook 9.0 Help) The second tab on the Export and Mail screen is the Folder tab. You can export recipes to your hard drive, floppy disk, zip disk, or other storage medium. To export recipes to storage medium: Click the arrow on the Import/Export icon on the toolbar. Select Export and Mail from the list. Click the Folder tab. Select the location where you would like to export the recipe(s). Confirm you have the correct recipes listed in the Recipe pane. If you’re exporting more than one recipe as a single file, click the Single File radio button and enter a name for the file or click the Multiple Files radio button to export them separately. Click the EXPORT button.

Enter a menu title and click Search. Search records will be displayed below the search panel.

34 Add/View/Edit Menu To Add a new Menu click My Recipes > Add New Menu. To View a menu search a menu first then click view against the desired menu. Similarly to edit or delete a menu, search a menu first, then click edit/delete against desired menu. 2 1

37 Search an event Click on “My Scheduler” in the left menu.
Select month and date and click “Jump” button to navigate through the calendar. You can also use PREVIOUS and NEXT buttons to navigate through calendar.

38 View Events for the desired Date
Place mouse on any of the dates of month. It will show the number of events for that specific date. Click “view day” or the date itself to view events of that specific date.

39 Event Details Here you can see all the appointments for the selected date. Multiple options are available on this screen. You can click any client to browse to client-update form for this client.

40 View/Print Heating Instructions
Click Heating Instructions link against desired event. Heating Instructions for all the recipes included in the event will be listed with recipe names. On this screen you can also print labels of heating instructions of all the recipes included in the event. Labels with gray background are added by Administrator and labels with white background are added by you.

41 View/Print Invoice Click Invoice link against any cook date event to view the invoice for the specific cook date. You can Generate Report for this invoice. Add/Edit/Delete items to this invoice.

42 View/Update Check List
Click Check List option to view check list for the specific cook date. This helps you to maintain a check list for this cook date.

43 Edit/Print/Delete Event
Edit/Print/Delete options are available against every cook date. Here you can edit/print/delete an existing cook date.

44 Make a shopping list for the event
At the top of Event screen two options “Create New Shopping List” and “Add to Shopping List” available. Clicking “Create New Shopping List” will create a new shopping list naming ”Shopping List for <EVENT DATE>” and add all the ingredients of recipes for this event to that shopping list. Selecting a shopping list from the drop down list and clicking “Add to Shopping List” will add the ingredients of all the recipes for this event to selected shopping list.

45 2 1 Add a new event Click “My Scheduler”.
Click “New” against the date you want to create event for. Select “Cook Date with Client” or “Other Event”. Enter required data and click next. 2 1

46 Add a New Event Enter time and notes etc.
You can search recipes to add to this cook date through basic search or advanced search. You can update portions , storage style, dish type and handling of each individual recipe. You can also add recipes of a specific menu to this cook date as well by simply selecting any menu. Recipe displayed with  represent client likes/loves its ingredients, Recipe displayed with  represent client dislikes its ingredients and Recipes displayed with * represents client has allergy with its ingredients. Searching a recipe will fill this drop down list.

You can add cook dates as well as other appointments on this screen. Hover your mouse on date, where you want to add an appointment.

52 Search an Invoice Click My Accounts in the left menu. All invoices will be displayed on the screen. Go to Client Manager, search you client. On mouse hover you will see a menu. You can find "My Schedule with this Client" here. By clicking you will be able to see all your cook dates with this client. Here you can easily identify your required cook date. You can see "Invoice" link against every cook date. Click "Invoice" link against your required Cook date. It will take you to the invoice. You can also go to “My Calendar” in the left menu and find your desired cook date. Clicking cook date will take you to the cook date edit screen. Here you can see “View Invoice” button under the Invoice tab( last tab). Click this button to view invoice associated with this cook date.

53 View/Edit an Invoice Click My Accounts in the left menu.
All invoices will be displayed on the screen. Click “View” against desired Invoice and its details will be displayed which can be updated.

54 Email Invoice You can email invoice to client.
You can also edit text in the editor. You will need to enter address when invoice was generated against a cook date other than client.

57 Activity Management – View Activity
Click My Reports > My Activity Report. Select a start date and End date and click “Generate Report”. All activities within selected time period will be listed on a new web form “Reports – Activity Report”.

58 View/Edit Events On the screen “Reports – Activity Report” you can click “Edit Event” button to view/Edit Events details. On the same screen you can also view Heating Instructions, Cook Date Check List and Invoice against that event.

Select a Start Date and End Date. Click “Go” and all the purchases made within that time period will be displayed Item wise. 2 1

To view the details of any item in the purchase list, click it. All the details of the item will be displayed.

On this screen you can enter items for this shopping list. You can also update shopping list title and added items on this screen. You can also change sort order of shopping list items. 1 2

After searching any shopping list you can view its details, edit its details or delete this shopping list. You can also move shopping list items up or down. While viewing shopping list, items will be displayed in the same order 2 3 1

66 Search a Purchase List Click Shopping Tools > My Purchases.
Enter a title of purchase you are searching. Select from and to date and check “Include Dates” Checkbox if you want to search purchases within specific dates.

67 Add a new Purchase List Click Shopping Tools > Add New Purchase. Enter Purchase title and select Purchase Date and click “Add”. A new web form will be displayed where you can enter items for this purchase list. You can also copy items of any shopping list by just selecting the shopping list in the drop down list and clicking the “Copy” button against it. 1 2

Search the desired Purchase list. You can delete it by clicking “Delete” button against desired purchase list. You can also view its contents by clicking “View” or edit its contents by clicking “Edit”. 1 3 2

Click My Business > Detailed Business Plan. All Detailed Business Plans will be listed. Click “ADD NEW BUSINESS PLAN” to add a new detailed business plan. You can print an existing plan by clicking “Print”. To edit an existing plan select the action you want to edit.

74 View Sales/Purchase report
Click My Business > Sales and Purchase Report. Select From and To dates. You can also View details of any sales/purchase by clicking it.

75 Upload your logo file Click My Business > Upload Logo.
Select a logo file and click “Upload file” button to upload your logo file. Only jpg files can be uploaded. You logo will appear on all reports you print using PersonalChefOffice

76 My Email Addresses Click My Business >My Email Addresses.
Here you can add a new address or edit/delete existing addresses. All the address will be verified. You can add your multiple addresses . You can use one of these addresses while mailing menu(s) to client(s).
