4 Graduation Requirements
English - 4 credits Math credits Science - 3 credits Social Studies - 3 credits HOPE/Physical Education - 1 credit Performing/Fine Arts - 1 credit Electives – 8 credits Math – Algebra is required starting with the class of 2001 Science- must include Biology and a Physical Science Social Science – World History(10th) American History (grade 11) Economics and American Government (12th) Performing Fine Arts ½ credit or 1 credit of either In order to receive a regular high school diploma a student needs to pass the High School Competency Test (HSCT)-

5 Reading 300 passing score required EOC’s Math
F C A T Reading 300 passing score required EOC’s Math Test during the second week in October. If you don’t pass it then you may retake it in March and then have 3 more trys your senior year if necessary. If a student made Math 315 on the Math FCAT he is exempt from the math section of the HSCT. If he scored 327 on the Reading section of theFCAT he is exempt from the Communicatons.

2.0 GPA in all credits attempted for Graduation Many colleges require 3.0 and higher for admission

7 COMMUNITY SERVICE REQUIREMENT
20 HOURS OF SERVICE REQUIRED FORMS AVAILABLE IN THE GUIDANCE OFFICE COMMUNITY SERVICE MUST BE TURNED IN BEFORE Dec. 1 SENIOR YEAR Keep in mind that MOST Scholarships including Bright Futures will require 75 hours or more.

16 GRADES and ATTENDANCE Students who have more than 10 absences per semester must pass at least one nine-week grading period and the semester exam to earn credit. This applies to both excused and unexcused absences.
