5 Email Etiquette Rules Be concise and to the point.
Answer all questions and pre-empt further questions. Use proper spelling, grammar and punctuation. Use appropriate spacing and emphasis. Do not overuse the high priority option. The high priority option will lose its function when you really need it if it is over-used.

6 Email Etiquette Rules Do not use CAPITALS for an entire email.
IF YOU WRITE IN CAPITALS IT SEEMS AS IF YOU ARE SHOUTING. At the very most, capitals can be used to emphasize one word, but more than that is inappropriate. Don’t leave out the message thread. Read the before you send it. Take care with abbreviations and emoticons.

9 Task 1 – Organising your working area and email system
Part of Learning Outcome 1 is assessed in this task It is important that other people in the business can easily find all your files and s in case they need access to them when you are not in the office.
