Grammar Quiz 20: Using Who and Whom
Try your best! You can do it! Once you are done, flip it over and read an AR book silently. Maniac Magee Ch. 9&10 With a partner, read chapter 9 and try to figure out what this simile from the end of the chapter means: “The Cobras were laughing because they figured the dumb, scraggly runt would get out of the East End in about as good shape as a bare big toe in a convention of snapping turtles.” As a class, we will read chapter 10. After reading chapter 10, we will make a T-chart to figure out: What made Mars Bar think he was “bad”? Why did the lady win the glare contest?
