Background: RES Directive 2009/28/EC
The Directive 2009/28/EC on the promotion of renewable energy sources (RES) was adopted in 2009 The RES Directive establishes a common framework for the promotion of renewable energy in the European Union Complexity and variety of issues addressed by the RES Directive require mechanisms that support its implementation RES Directive benefits from a structured dialogue between Members States and common approaches and solutions The concerted action (CA-RES) supports the RES Directive and the achievement of national targets 16/11/2018 CA-RES Concerted Action on the Renewable Energy Sources Directive IEE/CA/10/001/SI

Links to other activities
The CA-RES will keep contact with IEE projects related to the RES Directive and other relevant initiatives and actors The CA-RES will maintain a dialogue with the CA ESD and the CA EPBD (exchange of experiences, overlapping topics) The information that is public about the CA-RES is the one that can be found on the website. How RES4LESS can contribute: The best way forwards is that you send a request (list of speakers-subjects) to the Coordinator some months before each CARES meeting Like this the management team of the CA-RES will decide whether your suggestion/presentation is appropriate for the next CA-RES meeting, or the best way forward to feed in to the CA-RES activities. 16/11/2018 CA-RES Concerted Action on the Renewable Energy Sources Directive IEE/CA/10/001/SI
