2 Hebrews 10:19-25 Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, [20] by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, [21] and since we have a great priest over the house of God, [22] let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. [23] Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. [24] And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, [25] Not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. [9] Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.

24 #2. Why ‘fellowship?’ – because We’re NOT in this ALONE: Hebrews 10:25
“…but encouraging one another…” 1. Gone through it before you so can share some godly wisdom with you. 2. Going through it right now so you can openly share where you’re at’ 3. Weep with you that weep, rejoice with you that rejoice, (Rom 12:15)

28 #3. Why ‘fellowship?’ – because We’re on BORROWED TIME:
Hebrews 10:25 “…and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16 - ‘the Lord Himself will descend with a shout…voice of the archangel…’ Ephesians 5: ‘walk circumspectly, redeeming the time…’ Romans 13:13 & 14 - ‘…walk properly as in the daytime…’ John 9:4 - ‘…night is coming …no one can work.’

35 So Why ‘fellowship?’ Because We’re TOLD too... Because We’re NOT ALONE... Because We’re on BORROWED TIME...

36 So Why ‘fellowship?’ Because We’re TOLD too... Because We’re NOT ALONE... Because We’re on BORROWED TIME...

37 So Why ‘fellowship?’ Satan always hates Christian fellowship; it is his policy to keep Christians apart. Anything which can divide saints from one another he delights in. He attaches far more importance to godly intercourse than we do. Since union is strength, he does his best to promote separation Charles Spurgeon
