Pre-flight Modifications
Analog-to-Digital converter failed at some point in final testing. The A-to-D is a critical part of recording telemetry data, so a crucial part of our SHOT II payload Last minute problems with our 12V - 5V DC converter supply for our CDH board (overheating)

Results Approximately 2 hours of telemetry data logged, at 1 sample/sec Less than flight time. What happened? Batteries still supplying power at recovery Possible causes: Faulty connection caused power loss at balloon separation/burst (large ∆v) Low temps affected exposed power lines (ice build- up) Still plenty of data to work with

Lessons Learned Don’t leave things for the last minute
However, always be prepared for things to go wrong at the last minute
