8 The Land Bridge Theory is the belief that the first humans arrived to the Americas by crossing a land bridge connecting Asia and North America. 2. The early natives were nomads who migrated to follow their animal food source. 3. The glaciers melted as the climate got warmer, and the water covered up the bridge, making travel by foot impossible.
