Improvement:
The wall thickness of the guide tube is increased to 1.5 mm.
The combustion chamber insertion’s feets are not dotted anymore. But welded with 15mm sondern mit 15 mm long weldseams.
The feets are widen to 130 mm to prevent an overturning of the insertion.

Actual status:
The fault rate of the Danfoss BFP52 EL3 oil pump increases every year!
The returned oil pumps were checked (at Herrmann and Hoval). In the process it was discovered that 2/3 of the oil pumps were OK.
Possible reasons why the oil pumps were changed:

Operating noise
Deepening oil pressure

Technic of the oil pump:
Since 2010 the Danfoss oil pumps have a gear set made out of sintered material. Before the gears were made out of steel.
The sintered gear sets are more sensitive as the ones made out of steel because there are an increased abrasion.
Therefore the following notes have to be kept in mind:
Correct dimmenssioning of the oil pipe !
Tight oil pipe !
During commissioning of the plant the oil has to be suced with the manual pump. Suction with the oil pump is not allowed!
