1 Clariant Relationship Timeline
The Beginning 1979 – Classic Dyestuffs incorporated as surplus dye business with sales mainly to distributors and manufacturers. 1982 – Classic Dyestuffs added Contract blending service. 1996 – Standard Colors incorporated to provide direct sales and technical service to US textile plants.

2 Clariant Relationship Timeline
Clariant Customer Transfer Program November 2006 – Agreement with Clariant P&A to utilize our administrative and sales infrastructure to manage sales and promotion of Clariant products to small customers in the United States. May 2007 – Clariant P&A Small Customer Transfer Program expanded to include Clariant US Textile small customers. April 2008 – Organized Reliant Aluminum Products as a separate entity to focus on managing the Clariant US aluminum products business in the United States. Reliant added 3 key Clariant managers and 5 sales reps to ensure seamless transfer of the business. June 2008 – Standard Colors began managing Clariant US non-Automotive leather business. Two long-term Clariant technical sales reps hired to maintain technical focus in leather business. Standard Colors continues to distribute for Stahl Leather Corporation in the US and Canada.

3 Clariant Relationship Timeline
Clariant Customer Transfer Program January 2009 – Expanded Reliant aluminum business to include Mexico. April 2009 – Reliant added the Clariant Canada aluminum business. January 2010 – Organized Centricor Analytical Labs, to provide seamless support of analytical testing for all Clariant business units with the announcement that Clariant would close the US analytical lab. The purchase included all existing Clariant US analytical equipment and the entire US Clariant analytical lab team. December 2010 – Reliant began program to supply global products to Clariant Brazil for the Latin America aluminum business.

Clariant Customer Transfer Program January 2018 – Clariant and Standard Colors team up to create a united front addressing the US and Canadian agricultural markets. March 2018– Clariant/Standard Colors Agro Group created to serve the US and Canadian agricultural markets.

Clariant Customer Transfer Program April 2018 – Clariant and Reliant celebrate 10 years together in the Anodized Aluminum market.
