The structure of the complex of hydrogen and carbonyl
sulfide. For oH2-OCS the complex is planar with the rotation of the hydrogen species quenched by the weak intermolecular interaction. For pH2-OCS the hydrogen is spherically distributed. The similarity of the frequencies of the rotational transitions of oH2-OCS and pH2-OCS is striking and completely surprised us.
