“CV” or “Vitae” is like a resume:
Is a comprehensive, biographical statement emphasizing your professional qualifications and activities.
Should include your name, contact information, education, skills and experience.
Should be three or more pages in length.

Should only be used when requested:
Applications for admission to Graduate or Professional Schools.
Applications for academia:
School Administration
Institutional research and consulting
Higher education positions in teaching, research, and administration
