2 Promotions Marketing Promotions are sent to the NTB, MDB, and SAE comp lists on a monthly basis On average, we send out 20 E-blasts per month to the comp lists alone

4 Analytics The higher total open rates imply that recipients are either going back to reread s, or forwarding them to a colleague Click rates are >1%. These are strong leads as they’ve clicked either a link to view a marketing planner, a “contact your sales representative” button, or a link to the marketing website Future initiatives include testing (subject line, time of day)

Old vs. New The goal of the redesign is to freshen and modernize the look: Focusing more on interesting images rather than text Text and images can be swapped out on a monthly basis Adaptable template that we can use in other promotions

Feb 2016 we increased our LinkedIn group initiatives for NASA Tech Briefs From Feb 2016 to June 2016, we increased the group membership from 161 to 1,205 members (7.5X increase) Members can pose discussion questions, post job opportunities, and respond to posts Marketing posts several times per week with a variety of posts, including: Question of the week on the NTB site Videos on Techbriefs.tv Create the Future Design Contest Webinar Registration pages Content from NASA SnapApp quizzes

10 Social Media We recently started promoting MDB on LinkedIn and have grown the group from 60 members to 275 members (4.6X) Future plans include organic growth through content posting, efforts, cross-promoting on other channels Current stats: NASA Tech Briefs Twitter: 14.1K NTB Facebook: 1,564 Medical Design Briefs Twitter: 102 NTB Facebook: 107 SAE Automotive Twitter: 2,600 Instagram: 1,181 SAE Off-Highway Twitter: 464
