Be a typed page or more (12 size font, can use bullet points)
Be analytical. I want to see the novel through your eyes and see evidence of higher-level thinking (beyond the surface).
Notes can—
Contain SOME analytical questions. You can’t submit a whole page of questions.
Include predictions, reactions, and/or significant quotes

What are the distinguishing traits of the characters? What steps do they take to create a society and what conflicts are foreshadowed? What symbols, motifs, and themes are emerging? (Try to list at least 1 symbol, 1 motif, 1 theme AND where you see it in the novel).
