Obsahuje přehled faktografických údajů doplněný o otázky typu multiple-choice, doplňovací i spojovací cvičení. Je primárně zaměřen na dva poslední ročníky gymnázia, i přesto se dá využít i v nižších ročnících osmiletého i čtyřletého studia vcelku nebo jeho jednotlivé části. Pomůcky: interaktivní tabule

5 What is British literature?
The term British literature is widely used for literary works produced by British authors from the British Isles. It includes not only literature from England, but also from Scotland, Nothern Ireland, Wales, the Channel Islands and Isle of Man. The works are mostly written in the English language, although some works are written in Latin, Welsh, Scottish Gaelic etc.

British literature has always played an important role on the global stage with its iconic personalities such as William Shakespeare, Geoffrey Chaucer, Charles Dickens and many others. many British authors (or authors considering the UK their home) have been awarded The Nobel Prize for their achievements in literature.
