Objective To be able to find the area between curves using a definite integral.

How could I find the area between these curves?
Well I know a definite integral can find the area between a curve and the x-axis.

So I could find the area under the upper and subtract the area under the lower.

Find the x-values where the curves intersect. These will be your bounds. Take the definite integral of the upper minus the lower function. Where f(x) is above g(x) and b > a
