MOHA 2010 Wildland Fuel Program
2010 Wildland Fuel Mitigation activities 2010 was MOHA’s third year of participation in program (previously known as FireWise). Free chipping service provided late August, 2010. Each year of participation is an opportunity to reduce fire danger. Recommend more homeowners participate (19 homeowners participated in 2010, with 1.75 loads or ~20 cubic yards of chipped material collected). Fuel removed in public area adjacent to MOHA (to include open space from Farthing/Broadmoor Bluffs to Neal Ranch Rd, aka “the ravine”), as part of a 2010 FEMA grant. Look for FireWise signs on fences at each end of MOHA community (affixed in 2009). Wildland Fuel Program Coordinator – Andrew Notbohm, 11/16/2018 7
