Some Final Thoughts There are many ways to be an academic Recognise the ebb and flow of the academic cycle Taking breaks is important – daily, weekly, termly, yearly. Knowing yourself – what is your most productive time? Set and defend your boundaries – acknowledge when they need to change, but learn to say No.
