2. Richard Henry Dana was from the United States.
He was a student at Harvard College in Massachusetts.
He became a sailor and boarded the Pilgrim at Boston Harbor. That ship traveled south, around Cape Horn, then north to Alta California in order to trade with people in the foreign country of Mexico.

This should include where they sleep, how they dress, name, job, personality traits. You can draw picture of how each person may look in your imagination… Describe the life of the sailor, what they eat, how they can get scurvy, how they are punished if they break the rules… Show hierarchy of jobs.
