CACFP: Child and Adult Care Food Program
A program of the US Department of Agriculture Provides reimbursement for meals that meet requirements, which helps pay some of the cost of feeding children in child care An important piece of the solution to childhood hunger Share Our Strength’s Cooking Matters

CACFP and Nutrition Studies show that children in CACFP receive meals that are nutritionally better than those served to children in child care settings without CACFP. Children on CACFP have higher intakes of key nutrients, fewer servings of fats and sweets, than children in non-participating care.
