Responsibility for Specialty Mental Health Services (SMHS) Transfers to County of Residence
Placing Agency (DCFS/Probation) Sends Presumptive Transfer (PT) and Waiver Notifications
PT can be Waived for:
Continuity of Care
To Support Family Reunification
Placement Less than 6 Months
Placement 30 Minutes to Current Provider
