3. Occupational and Environmental Health Program
Purpose
Protect Health of members while enhancing combat and operational capabilities
Mitigate OEH-related risks (risk management)
MDG/CC Responsibilities
Responsible for OEH Program (including GSUs)
Assigns(in writing) OEH Medical Consultant and, Chair OEHWG (usually SGP)
Ensures OEHMC (or designated full-time rep) attends Federal Employee Compensation Act (FECA) Working Group

4. Occupational and Environmental Health Program
SGP Responsibilities
Leads Aerospace Medicine execution of OEH Program
Establishes OEHWG under the direction of the AMC
Ensures, at a minimum, the following reps participate in OEHWG FM BE PH
Ensures integration of OEHWG activities with Safety, CE, Fire and Emergency Services, Injury Compensation Specialist & HRO
Ensures appropriate Medical Surveillance Examination (MSE) are accomplished IAW AFI paragraph 4.4
Ensures MSEs are conducted based on recommendations from OEHWG
