2. JUNIOR TIMELINE FALL Register for the PSAT.
Set up college board account at
Practice for the SAT and/or ACT.
Review your schedule/4 year plan to make sure you are on the right track.
Research schools, majors and programs.
Maintain good grades.
Get involved.

3. JUNIOR TIMELINE WINTER
Receive results of PSAT. Set up Khan account and link to SAT account to practice for upcoming SAT.
Plan to register for the spring SAT at CHS.
Develop a list of post secondary schools by using available resources both online and in the guidance office.
Attend the college fair for Juniors.

4. JUNIOR TIMELINE SPRING/SUMMER
Carefully consider your course selections when scheduling for your senior year. Remember that maintaining academic rigor is an important part of your college application and can affect college admission.
Visit colleges and meet with admissions personnel.
Choose meaningful activities for the summer months – work, volunteer or take part in community service.
Update your resume’.
Register with eligibility center if playing sports at a Division I or II college.
