What is the Chapter Dashboard?
The Chapter Dashboard is your go-to place to submit reports to Headquarters and to monitor your chapter’s progress. Because the Chapter Dashboard is a management tool, access is restricted to current chapter officers only. Reports and forms previously found in the Chapter Toolkit will be located in the Chapter Dashboard. The Chapter Toolkit will remain accessible through the Dashboard and will continue to host a variety of useful chapter resources. Here’s an overview of what you can do with the Chapter Dashboard: Submit reports Update officer roster View analytical reports and monitor chapter progress Update profile info for members and chapter Manage membership roster Submit payment to Headquarters

How to Access the Chapter Dashboard

Menu Option: MEMBERSHIP
In the Membership section, there are two options: Actions and Reports. Under Actions, officers can Add New Members, Manage Members and Edit Member Profile information. Under Reports, officers can view a Member List to confirm the roster is current and use the contact information to communicate with members. More reports will be added here as needed.
5
Menu Option: MEMBERSHIP – Add New Members
Chapters NOT using the Online Enrollment Program (OEP) will use the Add New Members tool to add new members to the chapter roster. They can be added individually or by importing a spreadsheet using a provided template. Use the Add Person From File link to upload a spreadsheet.

Menu Option: MEMBERSHIP – Manage Members
The Manage Members tool can be used to update the status of a member on your chapter roster. Cancel will be available for the first 30 days after adding the member to your chapter roster. Rescind will be available after 30 days. You will be requested to upload the request from the member. Transfer will be available when you need to add a member to your roster as a transfer. Graduate will be available to identify members of your chapter who have graduated. Distinguished is available to nominate a member for distinguished status. Nomination letter and resume can be uploaded.

Menu Option: MEMBERSHIP – Edit Member Profile
Using the Edit Member Profile tool, officers now have the ability to update a member’s profile on their behalf if they are on your current roster. While members still have the ability to update their own profile on the Phi Kappa Phi website, there may be cases where you need to update the information for them. The following fields can be updated by chapter officers: Informal Name Proposed Graduate Date Undergrad/Graduate Major/Degree Election Status Address Phone numbers

Menu Option: OFFICERS In the Officers section, again there are two options: Actions and Reports. Under Actions, the Manage Officers section is where you will update your chapter officer list. Keep your officer roster up to date! Add officers in advance with future effective date Duplicate positions may be added if your chapter has more than one person in any given position Deadline – update by June 15 each year Access is dependent on current officer status Note: Because we want to make sure only current officers have the ability to complete actions using the Chapter Dashboard, it is more important than ever to keep your roster up to date. When an officer leaves a position, make sure to go in and remove them from the roster even if you don’t currently have a replacement. Under Reports, you will be able to pull an Officer Roster and Inactive Officer List. Run the Officer Roster report to make sure your chapter officer list is current. It’s also great to use as your communication distribution list. Run the Inactive Officer List to ensure all chapter officers are current with their national dues.
