REACH Active Inclusion Project
REACH is a pre- employment mentoring project offering support to economically inactive and long term unemployed participants to overcome a range of complex barriers. Focussing on wellbeing, learning and volunteering, the project will provide support to address issues preventing participants from accessing mainstream provision and begin their journey to employment.

Project is open to non-CCHA tenants living in these areas. Target group; 25 years plus Long term unemployed (1 year +) or Economically inactive

Delivery Model Every Participant will have:
An assigned mentor An action plan and a bespoke package of support Access to a range of support & training Access to a barriers fund and expenses. Mentors will have a case load and will: Provide holistic mentoring support Work with participants to develop an action plan and identify goals Refer to specialist services where appropriate Deliver in-house training Have a thematic area of responsibility.

Partnership Working Cardiff Council - Communities for Work Shared triage function including warm handovers and referrals across projects. Third Sector Organisations & Community Groups Referrals, co-delivery, volunteering opportunities Other Housing Associations Referrals, co-delivery, work experience & employment Learning & Training Providers Courses and accreditation Partner Business’ Taster sessions, volunteering opportunities, work experience & employment
