Introduction to the HVO programme
The High Value Opportunities (HVO) programme is UKTI’s flagship initiative to increase exports The programme identifies large scale overseas infrastructure projects, selecting those that offer the most lucrative opportunities for UK companies, both small and large Teams (comprising individuals from across and beyond UKTI and wider Government) are put together to provide an intensive level of long-term support to UK companies positioned to win contracts in and around these opportunities By Sector: Transport Energy Health, Sports and Urban Infrastructure Environment, Water and Related Mining

How does it work? Opportunities are researched, identified and validated using robust methodology. Chile Mining HVO NEW Chile is the world’s largest copper producer – five times larger than its nearest competitor, the USA UKTI intelligence has identified a project pipeline of 51 mining related projects worth £68bn in various phases, £40bn scheduled for the next seven years Projects range from power stations to water treatment plants to copper treatment facilities Require a range of mining related equipment, services, consultancy and expertise
