The Water Cycle is the recycling of water between the earth and the atmosphere. Let’s explore how the water cycle works.

Evaporation Show Define The physical change in state of water from a liquid to a gas or vapour.

Condensation The process by which water vapor becomes a liquid. Show

Orographic Precipitation
Show Define Precipitation produced when moist air is lifted as it moves over mountains. As the air rises and cools, clouds form and precipitation results.

Surface Runoff Show Define The portion of rainfall, irrigation water or waste water that does not infiltrate into the soil.

Subsurface Flow Show Define All water flowing below the land surface which may eventually seep into bodies of water such as rivers or lakes.
