Journal When you hear the word poverty, what words, phrases, images, locations, ideas come to mind? List everything you think of (without judgement) in your notebook. Think about (you don’t have to write about): What do these ideas say about the people who are “in poverty?” What do these ideas say about the people who are “outside of poverty?”
