LOCATION Where is it? Absolute vs. Relative Location
Absolute Location- The precise or exact point where a place is located on Earth. Ex: Morehead: 38.19N, 83.46W

LOCATION Relative Location- Where a place is located in relation to another place. Ex: Dairy Queen is down the hill from the high school. Ex: Mr. Singleton’s is across from the brown lockers

PLACE What is it like there?
Includes both physical AND human features of a place. Ex: landscapes, climate, people, culture, and language.
