Deserts are very dry places , but they aren’t always sandy-they can be rocky or even frozen.
During the day , temperatures can go higher than 50ْC. The hottest temperature ever recorded was 82ْC in the Sahara. At night, deserts get very cold: as low as -21ْC. Deserts are also very windy. Sometimes there are dangerous sandstorms.
