The NightLite Sensor
2
Introducing the NightLite Sensor The Occupancy Sensor that is a Night Light!
3
Many people leave light on all night 24/7 lighted push- button provides enough light for 2 am trip to bathroom without having to turn on bright overhead lights! Perfect for Hotel Bathrooms If occupant wants to turn on overhead lights, the night light is the On/Off switch. Passive Infrared (PIR) detection turns lights off if no occupancy
4
NightLite Sensor (WSD-NL) Technical Features Passive Infrared (PIR) occupancy detection provides coverage up to 10 feet for small hand motions and 20 feet for walking motions Draws 1/10 of a Watt at 120VAC (7-10 times less than other night light devices Can control lights and/or exhaust fans (1/4 HP Motor load) Patented either/or wiring for hot and load wires makes installation simple (neutral & ground also required) No minimum load requirements
5
Device contains microcontroller brain that is push-button programmable Default operation is Auto On/Auto Off Manual On is user selectable Optional Reduced Turn-On Sensitivity Mode (eliminates PIR reflection off glass Switch can also be disabled Off time delay is factory set to 60 minutes, but is selectable up to from 15 minutes to 2 hours (in 15 min. increments) NightLite Sensor (WSD-NL) Programmable Features
6
Mounts to standard switch box Fits next to GFI receptacles Vandal resistant lens Conformally coated circuit board provides corrosion protection from condensation caused by high humidity (steam) in bathrooms UL/CUL listed 5 Year Warranty Made in the USA NightLite Sensor (WSD-NL) Physical Features

Answer: Uses Passive Infrared (PIR) detection to See Sensor detects Heat in Motion You look like a moving 60 Watt light bulb! How does a PIR Sensor Work?
8
Each lens segment generates a pair of collector beams The distance behind the lens is called the Focal Length The Focal Length determines the size of the beams Detector Lens Two wafer thin Pyro-Electric elements are encapsulated and positioned behind a Fresnel lens
