The Convention: A candidate is chosen based on State Primary and State Caucus State Caucus: A group of delegates debate and discuss which candidates they want to represent their state’s interests in The Convention State Primary: Any citizen can vote on who they want their candidate to be at The Convention Presidential Election: The candidate from each political party competes against one another for the presidency
