Inclusion Awards Introduction
The IPG Inclusion Awards were established to recognize agencies and individuals who are making a real difference by “walking the talk” on diversity and inclusion. Entries are judged on the basis of submissions that meet presentation requirements and demonstrate measurable achievements and tangible results for activities that occurred during calendar year 2015. MERGE is a consortium of employees and Business Resource Groups (BRGs) from IPG agency and corporate organizations who are committed to ensuring that all IPG companies are recognized as industry leaders for diversity and inclusion. MERGE members include the Asian Heritage Group (AHG), the Black Employee Network (BEN), IPGLBT, the Hispanic-Latino Heritage Group (SOMOS) and the Women’s Leadership Network (WLN).

Key Reminders This year we are giving all award-winning entries the option to show 1 video of their award-winning campaign as part of their 3 minute acceptance speeches. Videos must not be longer than 2 minutes Videos must be formatted at 720p in either .mp4 or .avi format Total time allotment including videos and remarks is 3 minutes There will be strict adherence to award descriptions when selecting the winners

Individual Award Entry Instructions
The submission format has been selected to streamline and facilitate the judging and voting that must take place across several geographies Please use this PowerPoint as a template for your entries for Individual Champion of Inclusion A separate submission is required for each award category Please limit your submission to a maximum of 7 slides including the title slide Videos and photos are not required; If your agency wishes to submit a video it should be no longer than 2 minutes and should be provided via embedded link on a “Supporting Information” slide

Individual Champion of Diversity For an individual who is not a member of Diversity or HR staff May include active MERGE co-chairs and participants

Judging and Selection Process
MERGE organization co-chairs/project leaders and IPG Diversity + Inclusion staff serve as judges The judges will review slides and supporting information such as data, charts, graphs, testimonials, photos, videos, news clippings, awards, etc. Submissions are grouped into award categories; they are scored numerically by each judge Tangible results are weighted most heavily (for most categories)

Judging and Selection Process
Submissions must reflect award category descriptions, including provision of data as required, or they will be disqualified Submissions should describe programs, activities and results specifically aimed and diversity and inclusion
