The EOP has grown for three reasons:
Presidents keep adding new agencies
Presidents want many experts
Federal programs require agencies to coordinate
The OMB is the largest agency in the EOP
Prepares the national budget
The National Security Council
Advises the president and helps coordinate the nations military
Council of Academic Advisors
Formulates the nations economic policy
